The Albums
Gayleen has released two albums.  The first was released in 1997.  Obituary was released in 1997 to critical acclaim.  It was recorded live to DAT on one long day at St. James Anglican Church in Saskatoon, and produced by Don Schmid .  Obituary is a sparse, dark album about love, and the other, more sordid passions that haunt it.
Obituary has 14 songs on it, 13 listed and one ghost track.

The second, released officially in February 1999, is called Chimera.  It is a very different album from Obituary.  It was recorded entirely at home on a digital multitracker, and its lush sound reflects the theme of the album.  Chimera seems primarily to be about magic and the ability to believe and trust.  The fifteen songs on Chimera explore both the light and dark sides of fantasy.
